Who are we?

The Russell Chamber of Commerce is a group of approximately 50 business owners and/or operators who conduct business in the Russell Community. Our mandate is to promote, develop and protect business interests in a free enterprise environment and to communicate to local residents what businesses and services are offered locally.

What do we do?

In keeping with our mandate, we spend the majority of our community leadership, focusing on business related issues an economic development. These specific activities are detailed in the Marketing Programs section of this web site. However, we do also take great pride in our community related efforts. In the past, we have organized community days, Russell Anniversary celebrations, Canada Day Activities and many more. For this year, we are zoning in on these community-related activities:

• "Christmas Lights" contest
• Christmas Street decoration in the village core
